Nag, Nag, Nag

Dear Olive,
One of the worst things about the way I've been working the past couple of months, is how disgustingly early we need to bust out of the house, dressed and fed. And just how much naggying and hurry-UP-ing that takes place in order for us to do so. It sure makes me appreciate the days where we don't have to belt out that door like bats out of hell, egg yolk yet to dry on chins, passing off last nights pyjamas at today wear. We wake up ... slowly. We eat breakfast ... slowly. We get dressed ... slowly. It's such a relief not to play the awful, nagging parent for a day. And instead, play the fun one. And seeing as tomorrow's my last day on this job, I'm looking forward to plenty more of those.

Cutest and softest and most delightful jumper EVER from Tootsa Macginty. It's even got the tell tale stains to prove it's both our favourites - it hasn't been taken off in days.

Kellie you're not alone... I work 2days a week (and thank God it's only 2 days!) and we have to be in the car by 7am... By we I mean Sunny and I! It's awful when they struggle to open their sleepy eyes at 6am to get their day started! We regularly have weetbix dried to our chins... Lol.

That's the cutest jumper :) Your Olive is such a sweetie.

Cutest jumper! It's so nice to know those busy days can be followed soon after with slow ones xx

I am so thankful that I am taking this year off to be with Jarvis. Just reading your post made me dread when the time comes that I have to go back to work.

Hooray for more time with Olive! I hate the morning panic and nag-fest. I always feel so guilty afterwards : (

Have a super weekend guys.

LOVE the jumper! xx

I know the feeling. We're just getting used to a new morning routine at the moment, some days it works well, others it's nag nag nag. Thursday is our day to slob around in our jammies all morning and I love it! x

I hear you. Completely. Hurrying up a one-year-old-Weetabix-eater is beyond stressful. Roll on the lazy breakfast weekend.

Oh dear! But there has to be some play time in the morning?! ;)
I do the crazy early starts 2 days a week but luckily I have the man to wrangle the boy. Phew!

You wrapping on the 50s Telly show? Actually thought I'd run into you at the Way We Wear vintage fair in marrickville a few weeks ago. Instead we met one of your collegues buying up a storm for the show ;)

Love the jumper, it suits her so much! I think any woman who can get both themselves and children organised to head off to work is an absolute Superwoman. I'm a madman if we need to be out of the house by 9.

It's been a while since I stopped by here... Lots of funny stories to catch up on - I especially laughed at the self-made tiger in pen! Sorry to hear work mornings are feeling like a drag!

It's always nice to take things slowly in the morning and not feel like I have to constantly bark at the kids to get them dressed, changed, fed and out the door!

I enjoy days like these too as most of the time we are also rushing out of the door. It's madness but moments like these makes us remember it's the simple things which make the best days.

That jumper. Do they make it in ladies sizes? Or would I just look like a Cosby try hard? I love it.
