Big Wet

Dear Olive,
It's the most gale-force-windy, torrential-sideways-rainy kind of Saturday here. The worst sort of day to have no plans. There's really nothing else for it but to build cubbies. And paint. And eat pikelets. In the nude, naturally.

Love the cubby! It's nice to know mine aren't the only kids that are anti clothing.

Your photos are always so genuine. I always leave here smiling. That fort is fantastic, by the way.

My best,

We had the same kind of day. Strong winds and rain, cooped up at home. Dancing, eating snacks, singing, screaming, crying, laughing. Too bad my guy isn't quite old enough to build himself a fort, or know what one is if I built it.

For Jarvis, nude days are his happiest days. I am happy or any day that involves pikelets!

Looks like she had a great day full of adventures, despite being trapped indoors. So sweet.

LOVE the photos! It's winter here in Chicago. I can't wait for summer...and my son will be running around naked again. Life is so much simpler that way :)

Oh, and gotta love a good fort! :) So glad I clicked through to your blog today. Your photos have already gotten me smiling a few times. :)
