Dear Olive,
It was cold and absolutely bucketing down with special Sydney sideways rain on Saturday. So we invited one of your best little buddies out to the Museum for the day. In this photo, you're calling her to come and feel the eagles tail. Excitement and enthusiasm is so YOU. So while I know this is by no means a perfect photo, it's one of my favourite so far.

Linking up with Jodi.

That is so cute. I love seeing such excitement in little ones. I hope that the weather improves down there, it has been soo chilly here too. xx

That's what it's all about... A perfect photo for you and for Olive, just being Olive!!! Xx

It is so great (and quite rare, I find) to be able to really capture that moment of excitement - I usually never seem to have my camera ready at the right time). Lovely photo x

My two were at the Australian Museum on Sunday. It's such a great space for kids in rainy weather. So much to see and do and lots of wide open spaces for running...I mean walking...between exhibits. Very tolerant staff too!

sometimes those "un perfect" photos are the best ones.

I think it is a perfect photo. If it beautifully captures the energy of a moment, and you love to look at it, over and over, what makes a photo more a perfect photo than that?

I really love this shot too, the excitement in her little face too cute! But I really don't miss that special Sydney sideways rain! xo

It's an amazing photo. She is beautiful and so obviously character-filled.

It's often those imperfect pictures that tell the best stories - although I happen to think this is a great capture, precisely because it tells a story! P.S. Thank you for your lovely comment the other day. x
