We had lunch with two of my dearest friends today. Many moons ago, the three of us had another member and a regular dinner party club. But between a couple of births and an interstate relocation, Lady Club unfortunately seems to have been put on the back burner. These days, it's more than about sitting in parks than hosting fancy three course dinner parties. Today, there were three mums and three kids. For a long lunch. In a cafe. This could have been a chaotic recipe for disaster. But somehow, we managed to have a thoroughly lovely time. God Bless my friends. God Bless their kids.
