Dear Olive,
Well we're back. Back from visiting my family up north for a week. It's basically in the country. There is a horse in the paddock, and a swing tied to a tree in the backyard that goes on forever. There are snakes on the terrace. And spiders in the car and in the bedroom. (The bedroom!) And up there the frogs give you the latest local barometric predictions. It's where your Papa and Rob live, where I grew up. And it's where Anika and Jimi have just moved to - what a fabulous reunion with cousin Roxy! And I got plenty of cuddles with my new niece who was mercilessly whipped away from me just after she was born. Unfortunately, though, it was not the best week to visit - you were dreadfully out of sorts with a nasty cough that kept both us both up all night, leaving you whingy and clingy during the day, and me devoid of the energy required to deal with it. But we still had lots of fun.

Oh Olive you are so cute. Look at your little feet and little bottom and BIG hair. It looks like such fun times were had on the farm with your cousins big and small, despite that nasty cough trying to slow you down.
Kel, your photos are beautiful. That lavender, you can almost smell it. Your old stomping ground is just the best. I wish we could play there with our families more often. x
Spiders and snakes - the two things that stop me in my tracks when I start romanticising the Big Country Move too much. Lovely pics x
Yay for a week in the country with some of your all time fave things. A horse, cousins and nudie time. Life couldn't get much better. Welcome back guys! xx
Spiders I can live with but snakes. Not. A. Chance.
The bum photo, the foot photo and the mullet. Love them all so much! Glad you guys had fun despite the out-of-sortsness. So hard gearing up for a holiday ready to hand the baby over to some family yet said baby remains clung to you for dear life. It can be so frustrating. xx
Ah, Love the nudie bum! Welcome back... looks like you had fun with the flora and fauna... hope Olive's feeling better x
Welcome back lady! Glad to hear it was fun despite the under the weather Olive. And BEAUTIFUL photos!
Your pics were already great now they are getting even greater xx
That bum, those curls. Love it! Hope olive's feeling better & you had a fab time xx
I was about to write, ah I love the nudie bum, but I see it's been said and thought by many before me. Still, I DO LOVE the nudie bum! And those 3 unbuttoned buttons, oh those buttons! And the poor legs that sometimes get squelched between them. ouch.
Running around naked - that's the life! My grandad used to sing this song about me when I was little called "I know a little girl who's got no knickers on"... say no more, ha ha! xx
ps: loving the new flicks with your new camera!
That bare bum photo is a winner - I love it!!
