Dear Olive,
From the weekend. A magnificent sunrise (courtesy of Shane. I had my eyes firmly closed in bed). A trip to the stables (I'm beginning to wonder if fostering what are clearly strong horsey instincts in you is a good idea. I was super horsey. My sister was super duper horsey. All well and good in the country. In the city, well, it just isn't going to be as easy. And waaaaay more expensive, no doubt. Although the young girls mucking out the stables looked really sweet). Followed by a wander around Surry Hills, which endures as one of my all time favourite Sydney suburbs. Crunchy leaves are an Autumn bonus aren't they?

I LOVE walking over 'crunching' Autumn leaves.
We've just discovered crunching leaves here... hours of entertainment. Loving her outfit - leggings, cardi, hat... so cute. x
Super duper horsey here too! I still have the pony I rode when I was 5! I often take Lalie to visit her... so special to see her sitting on the pony I rode as such a wee thing. I really hope to surround Lalie with horses and animals - just need to secure some acreage.
I think it's great that you're exposing Olive to horses and giving her a taste of your own childhood, even if you are in the city.
xxx
I was totally not horsey. Not one iota. But I must admit it is ridiculously cute seeing Olive riding a pony! xx
THAT cardi! Grrrrrr....
My son could play in crunchy leaves forEVER! It's his favorite.
Darling little girl!
Crunchy leaves are such a bonus. I love these photos Kellie, and that you're introducing Olive to a bit of your own childhood. xx
What a stunning sunrise:) I wasn't a horsey girl but my brother was a horsey boy, they are lots of fun aren't they... I love the crunching of the leaves under my feet too, Autumn... xx
