We heard a whisper. We saw a photo. We wondered if we would be lucky enough to find it. And guess what? We were! And it was magnificent. Sunning itself and being completely nonchalant about its onlookers. I wonder if it knew how awe inspiring it was?

My mum worked in wolloomoolloo for a while and loved sitting eating her sandwiches watching the 'navy' seal hanging out next to the finger wharf.
I saw a story about this on the news, way up here in QLD! How wonderful to see it in the flesh! Lucky little Olive :D

aw, looks like it got up in the last photo to say, 'hey, where are you going?'. we saw a seal on the rocks at our local beach recently. had to resist the temptation to go and give it a cuddle. :)
