Dear Olive,
I had, in my mind, an insightful letter about being a working Mum. On my mind because Shane and I are both working full time for a few weeks, and it's all extremely tricky. But I'm far too busy with work to think about it properly. (Ha!) So here are some pictures from our weekend instead.
1. You had a massive tantrum yesterday because you want a dog on a lead. You've been asking for a lead for Pepper for a few weeks. The fact that she follows us for a few blocks every time we go for a walk clearly does not cut the mustard.
2. Watching the ice skaters. That's right, there's an ice skating rink, on bondi beach.
3. Scrambled eggs and a pompom. Naturally.
4.& 5.& 6. Sun dance. It's sandal weather!
7. Craft at the markets with friends.
8. Lazy Sunday fish and chip lunch.

Reading below, our silent assassin is still creeping into our bed at night too. I hear you on both fronts - lack of sleep, kicks and elbows but on the flip side warm, snuggly and super cute.
An analogy for motherhood really or is that too profound for 9:30 on a Friday morning!

Looks like such a gloriously sunny Sydney weekend, how I miss those (even in Winter!).
And I absolutely adore that pom pom, your kid has style (and in that photo she looks so assured, so full of grace).
And ps. give in to the tantrum! Get a dog! On a lead! (not that I am completely biased towards all things doggie...in anyway...ahem)
