Dear Olive,
Ok, so wintery days is a bit of a stretch, seeing as I came home from the park this morning in a t-shirt. But the weather has taken a turn for the chilly here. A divinely-beautifully-sunny-but-sometimes-bitterly-windy chilly turn. (I can just hear the guffaws of overseas friends now. Sydney?! Chilly?!) Well, our woollens and jackets have come out. Most of yours are a rerun from last year. Nothing wrong with that, so are mine.
Off to the park.
I'm wearing: gorman t, acadamee jacket, sass & bide jeans, blue desert boots Shane bought me in Melbourne, old hat of Shane's which (mostly worn an anti cowlick styling technique for my hair)

Dear Olive,
Guess who crashed our party - literally walked right through our what we're wearing shoot last week? That's right, this lady from bondi, and this lady from far north queensland. We were on our way out to dinner separately, but came together for a few fabulous minutes of fashion in our driveway.
I'm wearing: vintage blouse, scanlon & theodore pants, gorman shoes, vintage wallet.

Dear Olive,
I'm not sure why I've never properly gone down the what I'm wearing road before, as we are most interested in the threads we get around in in the dear olive household. So, no more hiding in the closet, I do declare! Here are a couple of days in clothes for all three of us.

Dear Olive,
I haven't had much inspiration for letters this week. Your Dads been at home with a sprained ankle and I released my long dormant inner couch slug during your daytime naps. Mad Men series 4 just proved too appealing. Suffice to say we've had an enjoyable if uneventful week as a threesome.
For Bianca: I see your diagonal print leggings. And I raise you an aztec.

Dear Olive,
I'm getting into the swing of being back at home with you a bit more now. Having lots of plans is definitely a good idea. It's the company of adults and the conversations that I miss from being at work. And if there are no plans? It's a good idea to head to the horsey park (Centennial Park). It's so peaceful there in the afternoons, and so beautiful. We wore our new jumpers (ok, yours is more of a jacket) and your Top Two Cuddly Friends, Juany and rabbit, came with us. Everywhere we go (or talk about going) you say "Juany rabbit coming too", and despite Shane and my best efforts to get you out the door without them, they usually manage to tag along.

Dear Olive,
Two things worthy of a mention today.
1. I finished up my full time job yesterday and am back at home with you. I'm feeling a bit mixed about it, I ended up loving that job. But, of course, I also adore you. And man we've had some sweet cuddles this morning.
2. We're both wearing skirts. This is highly unusual. In fact, I think it might even be a first.
